Scope of Responsibilities

 

Work from calling queues and free trial requests to introduce all Scholastic Digital Products by providing sales and WebEx presentations.  In addition, the ISR will provide support to the Digital Renewal Team as directed by supervisor.  Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and emails as well as inbound inquiries and lead follow-up.

 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Calling on pre-determined campaigns to speak to customers to renew/sell Scholastic Digital Products for their student population. 
  • Participation during staff meetings giving feedback on how projects are working.
  • Strong professional communication skills between ISR, Supervisor, and customer.
  • Become a subject matter expert on all digital products offered by the company.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
  • Understand the competitors and how to use rebuttals in order to close the sale.

 

Specific Experience

  • Ability to strictly adhere to company policies as outlined in the facilities handbook.
  • Ability to reach 100% of monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Minimum dials per hour of 7.
  • Minimum talk-time of 25%.
  • Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Technology, sales, or education experience required.  A combination of two out of three skills preferred.
  • WebEx Meetings.
