THE OPPORTUNITY/RESPONSIBILITIES

 

We are seeking to hire an Editorial Assistant for Branches, Acorn and Readers. This individual will assist the Publisher and Associate Publisher with nonfiction publishing. Responsibilities will include writing fact sheets, catalog copy, flap copy and title maintenance. The Editorial Assistant will perform general office duties including calendar management and scheduling meetings. In addition, he/she will act as a liaison with other departments and take detailed notes at meetings. 

 

 

HOW YOU CAN FIT    

  • A college degree with an Early Childhood major and nonfiction minor is desired
  • Proficient in major computer programs
  • Proofreading skills
