  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of successful experience in merchandising, retail or district/ territory sales, event management, personal selling, or customer service is preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software.  Ability to use appropriate technology for position (i.e. handheld computer, phone)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills - with peers, superiors and customers.
  • Familiarization with children's literature, Book Fairs, and school activities helpful.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions (either written or oral), correspondence, and memos.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Professional business attire and appearance.
  • Current and valid driver's license with good driving record required.  Must have reliable transportation.  Will be using personal vehicle.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull cases up to 300 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
  • Will be delivering and picking up table top fairs.
  • Setting up and moving many boxes.
  • Able to manage a flexible work schedule.  Must be able to work 20-30 hours per week.  Ability to work overtime when required.  Evening hours as needed. Possible overnight travel, depending on business needs.
