HOW YOU CAN FIT (Qualifications)
- BS/BA from an accredited college/university in communications, English, marketing, or related field; Master’s degree a plus
- Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate communications with focus on internal/employee communications; either in-house or on the agency side
- Executive speechwriter a strong plus
- Must be a skilled storyteller, writer, and editor; able to connect to the needs of different stakeholders and understand how best to craft communications to engage them
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence others and produce results across channels and businesses
- Incredible collaborator with ability to work on both strategy and implementation, no job is too big or too small
- Ability to pivot quickly and adapt plans and strategies to respond to changes in the external environment (e.g. ongoing covid-19 communications, social unrest, economic disruption)
- Publishing or education industry experience a plus, but not mandatory
