Financial Analyst-Field Finance will partner with management on financial aspects of key initiatives across the Book Fairs division.  Key areas of focus include variance analysis, financial performance reporting, partnering with leadership to help facilitate improved fair profitability, and data compiling to ensure accurate forecasts and annual budget.


  • Contribute to the development and completion of the annual operating budget and quarterly forecasts.
  • Work closely with management to determine methods to more effectively and accurately prepare budget and forecast information.
  • Evaluate performance against forecast and plan on a consistent basis, identifying key drivers of variance.
  • Monitor and analyze trends related to revenue and expenses. 
  • Responsible for the partnership and development of operational forecasts and budgets.
  • Run and explain to management routine monthly performance reports and metrics.
  • Uncover areas of improvement in current processes to drive finance team performance.
  • Provide support on our current Oracle Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service tool as needed.


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field of study.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Financial Analyst in a corporate environment is a plus.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage time and multiple commitments / projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, linking worksheets).
  • Hyperion Cloud Applications or similar application experience an added plus.
  • Ability to compile extensive data and identify opportunities to improve data integration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that apply to multiple organizational levels.
  • Ability to be flexible, adapt to change and work in a fast pace environment.
