THE OPPORTUNITY / RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will provide leadership, ownership, and drive results in the following key areas:

• Meet specific annual quantitative goals for revenue growth
• Set the vision for and build omni-channel marketing programs and campaigns by translating business needs into communication materials
• Utilize data-driven insights, shifts in the market, and technology advancements to evolve the underlying content strategy, and communicate these changes to your team
• Define key metrics that signal success of content and how it links back to business drivers
• Create audience and channel specific strategies for the promotion of our programs across social networks, email, mobile and video.
• Plan and document the requirements for cross-channel campaigns, including new and updated product releases and new strategic insights. Documentation includes use case planning and user experience design considerations.
• Develop standards and best practices for creation, management, maintenance, and governance of content, overseeing both editorial and technological processes in an agile environment while ensuring that all content that is published is properly edited and quality controlled.
• Ensure that you and your team is measuring and evaluating content quality on an ongoing basis and using research and data to ensure content effectiveness
• Ensure that the following best practices are being met: conduct content audits to assess and evaluate content quality, conduct competitive analyses of content, create taxonomy/nomenclature lists and definitions and a content model that captures content types and attributes, and prepare gap analysis to identify new content to be developed
• Extract insights from content analytics to continuously improve performance
• Manage the editorial publishing process and engage creative partners from internal resources to external vendors
• Manage to analytics and SEO standards so that all content is implemented with proper tagging
• Be an influential voice for best practices in content strategy, user experience, design, and technology and be passionate about the role content can play in providing value to users
