Reports to Sr. Brand Manager & Publisher

 Assist Publisher with: 

  • Schedule Internal & External Meetings
  • Travel
  • Coordinate Travel Meetings
  • File Expense Reports
  • Answer Phone
  • Research - Look up sales figures, research competition
  • Take notes & distribute them at various meetings
  • Assist with Acquisitions of new brands
  • Manage tracking grids
  • Run P&Ls
  • Write internal Acquisitions memos
  • Create Offer Decks
  • Manage Brand Sheets, collecting retail updates and information from each licensor for Marketing & Sales, monthly
  • Direct weekly Licensed Idea Group meetings with Trade, Clubs, and Fairs
  • Compile and send the agenda in advance
  • Run agenda
  • Provide recap notes
  • Attend potential brand meetings & Consumer Products summits with outside agents, Licensors, and networks and provide recap notes
  • Maintain library of contracts and ISBNs by licensor, as well as all internal grids
  • Compile contractual Forecast reporting as requested by partners, including domestic and international sales
  • Work with Finance contact to pull all titles together
  • Work with International Subsidiaries to assemble sales data
  • Review numbers against previous submissions
  • Submit forecasts based upon various Licensor models/systems
  • Maintain forecast log of all submissions
  • Quarterly calendar for 15-20 Licensed Partners, with varying Territories
  • Assist with contractual sales updates, reports, and business reviews as requested by partners
  • Research trends and series as assigned

  • 2 years’ experience in Licensing (and/or publishing/Licensing/Entertainment)
  • Knowledge and interest in pop-culture entertainment
  • Business acumen (understanding numbers/forecasts/P&Ls/etc)
  • Well-spoken/written - communication is key
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task
  • Works well with others
  • Proficient in Office, specifically Excel, PPT
