Production Coordinator

o Manages production of Trade Licensed publishing, which includes Typeset, in-house, novelty, readers, 8x8s, Graphix media, and ebooks
o Carefully review book/series style sheets to ensure that content adheres to licensor guidelines and market demographics
o Work closely with creative, editorial, and manufacturing departments on all aspects of production

General duties:

o Maintain all production schedules, ensuring that the target dates are accurate and communicating deadlines to the Senior Production Director, Design, Editorial, and manufacturing departments.
o Copyedit and proofread materials (short jobs) in-house
o Checks and routes materials in all stages of production
o Oversees on-time creation of galleys, F&Gs, and other sales materials
o Conduct weekly status meetings and all other meetings as necessary, ensuring timely agenda distribution, attendee participation, and follow up.
o Update and maintain the production status agenda for all titles managed, reviewing weekly to make sure all info is entered clearly and correctly.


o 2-3 years production experience (or relevant experience) required
o BA required
o Effective proactive communicator (written and verbal)
o Excellent Organizational and basic process management skills
o Collaborative team player
o Multitasker a must
