WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

The successful candidate will combine excellent conceptual and analytical skills with solid broad business judgment, be capable of understanding complex organizational and financial structures, and be able to communicate that data with credibility to both financial and non-financial audiences alike.  They will be comfortable and effective in dealing with senior management, operating management, and external contacts such as bankers and trust officers.  


The individual must have the highest ethical standards and personal integrity, as well as have a first-class professional orientation and image.  The individual should have excellent communication skills and be able to relate to various audiences ranging from the Chief Executive Officer to staff members.  


The ideal candidate will have held a series of treasury-related and/or finance positions in a large multi-unit operating environment with a sound background in banking products and cash management services.  Above all, Scholastic seeks a Treasury Analyst capable of participating with others in the corporate office and the business units in focusing on creating operating efficiencies and process system improvements while enhancing appropriate financial controls, and communicates these ideas effectively in a consistent and straightforward manner.


REQUIREMENTS: 

• 3-5 years' experience in a similar position

• Must have a working knowledge of Oracle, PC-based bank cash management systems and applications including Microsoft Word, Excel for Windows and PowerPoint.
